Some Ghoulish Pumpkin Ideas

I just had to share these awesome pumpkin ideas I just found on GoodHousekeeping.
Studded with self-adhesive craft store jewels.  Add a little height to some of them with candle holder stands or even small cake plate stands.  Love this idea.
Some vinyl for the witch and some styrofoam for the stars.  Get the downloadable templates and all of the haunted how-tos.   What a great idea this is.  Could be for the front door or just inside in your entryway.

White painted gourds make the “pumpkin skeletons”, add some gold painted gourds around them and add in some store bought tombstones.  What a “grave mantel” this is.  Love it.

Check out this butternut squash with a “Scream” face on it.  It was painted copper first though.  I love the idea of putting the little candies into some black tulle with orange sparkles.  Such a cute idea for a Halloween party at your house.

These jack-o’-lanterns are painted with metalic paints, added some sequin strips to the witch’s eyes and glitter glue to outline the ghost.  What great ideas.  Plus you can’t forget to add a studded pumpkin to the mix.

Check out these kitties!!!  Pick large pumpkins for the bodies, smaller ones for the heads.  Use some glossy black paint, and carve almond-shaped eyes. Use felt for the ears and collars. And don’t forget to add some rhinestone to outline the ears, eyes & collar.  This is an awesome idea to do with the kids even.  Let them get creative with how they want their cat to look.

Black pipe cleaners, different colored spiders, give you a cute “charm” for your guests glasses so they know who’s is who’s potion.  ๐Ÿ˜‰   What a cute idea for a Halloween party at your house.

Well I hope you have enjoyed all of these ideas as much as I have.  I will have to save some of these ideas for next year now.  So what decorating ideas have you come up with this year for the Fall or Halloween.  Let’s share.  I love to see what my followers are doing.

Have a great day everyone!!!  :)

Fall Inspired Decorating Ideas

First off I want to completely apologies for not posting that much lately.  I have some personal stuff going on at home and I just can’t always find the time to come on and make a post.  Darn 9-5 job also!!!  I do have some great projects coming up, so I hope you will continue to stop back and see what is going on.  Thanks!  ~Jen  :)
Now back to the post!!!
I completely love Fall.  It is the best time of the year for me.  My birthday is in September and we were married in October… it has a lot of special meaning to me.  I absolutely love the colors of Fall and the crisp air that comes in.  Love to sit outside and take pictures of the changing leaves and sitting by the fire later in the day.  Oh I can’t wait for this weather to be here.
So with Fall right around the corner I needed some inspiration to get me in the mood to start decorating my house for the Fall.  I usually start to decorate the first week of October.  Then switch over to Christmas/Winter decor during the Thanksgiving weekend.  So of course off to Pinterest I went to find some inspiration for the Fall.
This centerpiece is gorgeous!!!  You could put anything into those cylinder vases with the candles.  This kind of decor could be for a fireplace mantle as well.  Talk about a warm and cozy feeling.  Love it!!!
Love this rag wreath.  Nice happy pop of color on your front door or even over your fireplace mantel.
These napkin rings are so cute, yet so simple.  Ribbon and accents of your choice and you are done.
Oh My Gosh!  How stinkin’ cute are these guys?  Would have never thought to put masks on pumpkins.  Great idea.  So cute for a Halloween party even, not just for decor.  These little guys are making me smile every time I look at this picture.

So simple, yet great statement and use of a fireplace…..if you don’t use your fireplace of course.  ๐Ÿ˜‰
Grab that two tiered fruit basket, add some straw {or whatever you wish} and add the pumpkins.  I love that they used white pumpkins for this, but it would still look great with orange pumpkins if that is your preference.
How stinkin’ cute is this caterpillar pumpkin?  You can do this whether you have kids or not.  Great for the front yard.
Gorgeous table setting.  Love all the texture with the place mats & the flowers.
I absolutely love lanterns.  What a super cute idea to put pumpkins inside of some and candles in some.

Pumpkins, lanterns & leaves…..Oh My!!!  I wish I had a nice porch so I could do something like this.  Love it!!!
OK, well that wraps up my Fall Inspiration Eye Candy.  Hope you were able to get some ideas for your home.  What do you love to decorated with at this time of year?  Do you just decorate for the Fall season or do you decorate for Halloween?  I would love to hear all about it.  Please leave a comment to share with everyone.  You can leave a link to a post of yours if this is something you have blogged about.  Thanks for stopping by everyone.  Have a great day!!!
